At Work in the ActiveArt Studio |
Art Studio - It's small, but it works for us right now. Jef is currently setting up a second space to accommodate screenprinting -- a new and exciting direction for us.

Work Table - Debra's images begin with a pencil drawing. The finished drawing then takes two directions: It is scanned into the computer for digital processing, and a selection are hand painted onto fabric and framed.

Main Computer - Once a design or image is rendered digitally to completion, it is printed out onto paper, using pigmented inks, for a dry dying process (sublimation).
Heat Press - The heat press is used in the dying process. Images are pressure-baked onto ceramic, stone, and glass tiles, which have been specially coated. Fabrics, such as satin, are also dyed.
